The Rongai Route is the only trail that approaches Kilimanjaro from the northern side near the Kenyan border. It is typically drier and less crowded than southern routes, making it ideal during rainy seasons. The gradual ascent profile and stunning northern scenery provide a unique climbing experience before joining the summit path.
